How Big Free Casino works
Answers to the questions people ask most, followed by a guide to every game.
Common questions
What is Big Free Casino?
Big Free Casino is a free casino that you play with play money. It has 33 games, including a classic slot, blackjack, roulette, craps, baccarat, table poker and video poker, and each one follows the rules and pay tables you would find on a casino floor. Miles Media built it. You don't need an account to play.
Is this real money?
No. Every chip is play money. You can't deposit, you can't withdraw, and nothing you win can be exchanged for prizes. Chips have no cash value, and nothing on the site is for sale.
How do I get more chips?
You start with $10,000. The daily bonus pays $1,000 on day 1, then $500 more for every day in a row, up to $5,000. Skip a day and the streak starts over.
The cashier adds $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, $25,000 or $50,000 at a time, as often as you like, until your balance would pass $1,000,000. For a fresh start, your account page can reset your balance to $10,000.
The rewards and bonuses page has the details.
What happens if I close a game in the middle of a round?
Your stake is safe. If you close the tab, lose your connection or your battery dies mid-round, the game sorts it out the next time you open it. It either picks the round up where you left it or returns your stake to your balance. The cashier history lists any refund.
Are the games fair?
Yes. Cards and dice come from your browser's cryptographic random generator, the same kind browsers use to create encryption keys. Every game follows the real casino rules and pay tables. We checked each game's house edge against the published figure, either by simulation or by counting every possible outcome.
In the lobby, the info button on a game's tile shows its return to player where one figure covers the whole game. Streaks happen in random games, and a run of wins or losses says nothing about the next round.
Who are the players in the live wins?
Until player accounts open, the wins in the ticker on the home page and on each game's live wins board come from the house's computer players, like the regulars in the Poker Room and the riders on Rocket. Your own wins show there too, marked You. Names are starred out.
Wins show as gross, what a win paid back with the bet included, the way most casinos post them. The home page always shows gross; a game's live wins board can switch to net, the profit, in Settings, where you can also turn live wins off.
How do stats and history work?
Big Free Casino records each round you play: the bets, the result, the payout and the time. Open My stats in a game's menu to see the numbers for that table. Your account page adds totals across every game, your balance over time and your most recent rounds.
All of it is stored in this browser. Clearing the site's data in your browser settings resets your stats, history and balance, and none of it follows you to another browser or device.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Big Free Casino runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, so there is nothing to install. The tables work with touch. If you want an app-style icon, use your browser's Add to Home Screen option. Sound starts on, and you can turn it off from the game menu.
Do I need an account?
Not yet. There are no accounts, passwords or emails. Your balance, stats and settings are kept in this browser, and your account page shows them in one place. If you switch browsers or clear the site's data, you start again with $10,000.
Who can play?
Big Free Casino is for adults 21 and older, and it is for entertainment only. If gambling stops being fun, read about playing responsibly and where to find free help.
